
G. Faye Partridge, age 85, passed away Monday, April 15, 2002. Faye was born in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, on August 20, 1916. She was a Ventura County resident for over 40 years but had resided with her daughter in San Antonio, Texas, for the past three years. She was a graduate of California State University at Northridge, a retired Hueneme School District teacher and a long time charter member of Parkview Baptist Church in Port Hueneme.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.A., and four brothers. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Allen and Bettye Partridge of Los Angeles, and Clayton and Patricia of Albany, Oregon; and a daughter and son-in-law, Zona and Richard Hurt of San Antonio. Her siblings are: sister, Theresa Bean of Oklahoma; and two brothers, La Voy and wife Mary Watson of Illinois, and Dale Watson of Oklahoma. She had seven grandchildren: Jeff Partridge and his wife Priscilla of San Antonio, John Partridge and his wife Lori of Oxnard, Scott Partridge and his wife Karen of Irvine, California, Debra Anderson and her husband Chip of Nevada City, California, Rene Ford and her husband Ben of San Antonio, Todd Hurt of St. Louis Missouri, and Douglas Hurt of San Antonio. She also had seven great-grandchildren.
