SMSGT Gary Elgin Grankey, USAF Ret, age 53 of San Antonio, died on Friday, October 4 , 2002. He was an avid gardener and naturalist. He was preceded in death by his mother Elvira Stowe Grankey. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Mari Sica; children Rebecca Cases Grankey of San Antonio, Franklin Aranel and fiance Genalyn Duehring of San Antonio and Shirley Aranel and fiance Adrian Romanyszyn of San Antonio; grandchildren, Ethan Michael Stephens, and Seth Romanyszyn; father, Gerald Elgin Grankey; and a sister Linda Eveland both of Muscoda, WI
