John sadly left us on Aug 25, 2023, following a lengthy battle with cancer. John is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of 31 years, his two children Jeffrey and Jennifer, his father William Willis and three siblings Priscilla, Clinton, and Robert. John was born in Morehead City, NC. He joined the Army at age 18 and served with distinct honor for 33 years. John called San Antonio his home and settled there after his military retirement. He took work at San Antonio’s Sea World after the Army where he enjoyed working with the people and animals alike.
