Gilbert Alameda GG Garcia

Gilbert worked at Penner's Men's Clothing Store for over fifteen years and later became the proud owner of "G.G. Vacuums", in San Antonio. He retired in 2010 looking forward to spending more time with his family. He loved to gather with family and friends and BBQ at any opportunity. He liked to laugh and clown around and loved to make others laugh!

Gilbert is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mary Rodriguez Garcia. His children, Gilbert Garcia Jr. (Annette), Gabriel Garcia (Yolanda), Vivian Gonzales (Juan), Christopher Garcia and Carlos Garcia. Grandchildren, Franklin Gonzales (Shannon), Denise Gonzales Green (Josh), Amanda Garthe (Andrew), Sara Garcia, Christopher A. Garcia, Jose Angel Trevino, Desiree Trevino, Karmina Garza, Santiago and Simplicia Garcia and eight great grandchildren. Four sisters and three brothers.

Visitation: Fri., Jan. 22, 2016 at 5:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave. Procession from Porter Loring on Sat., Jan. 23, 2016 at 11:30 am with Mass at 12:00 pm, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria.

Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
