Gina spent her career as a patient coordinator in the medical field, where her kindness and dedication made a lasting impact. Her compassionate nature was reflected not only in her work but in the passionate love she had for her friends and family. Her family describes her as a fighter—someone who never gave up, no matter the challenges she faced. She approached life with unwavering determination and a heart full of love.
Gina is survived by her parents Fransico and Evangelina Cervantes; her ex- husband Richard Fonseca; her siblings Jeniffer and Frank; her children Gino Guerra, Ashley Fonseca, Richard Fonseca, and Christian Fonseca; her grandchildren JC Guerra, Ryann Guerra, Ashlynn Acosta, Abel “Bear” Acosta, Alexis Acosta, Juiliana, G’ohvanni, Izabella Fonseca and Cooper Fonseca.
She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, cherishing every moment they shared. A loyal fan of the New York Yankees and the Kansas City Chiefs, Gina could always be found cheering on her favorite teams with enthusiasm and pride. Music played a special role in her life as well—she loved to sing and found peace and happiness in listening to her favorite songs.
Gina’s strength, generosity, and love for her family will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her legacy of resilience and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
