She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1963. This served her well in raising a large family. She was proud of the family they raised together and felt that she didnt owe anyone. "Ive worked hard and done the best I could. My family is the most important thing to me. I have a lot to be thankful for." She said that "life has sent me many ups and downs, but Ive always had a good life that came from the Lords Blessings."
