Glenn A. Williams

Glenn Alfred Williams, 84, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away July 29, 2024. Glenn was born to Oscar Williams and Rosie Lee Adams December 30, 1939 in Laurel, Mississippi. He served 30 years in the United States Air Force and more than 20 years in Civil Service as an accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Colorado in 1984.

He is survived by his sister Beulah Gore, daughters Nicole (Baker), and Megan Williams, sons Derrick Williams, Kirk and Kent (Gambrell). He also leaves to cherish his memories ten grandchildren; Fabrice, Dominique, Mia, Emma, Ava, Maksim, Elena, Roman and Layla; many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy and Deborah, Brothers William, Oscar and Ronald; and son, Glenn.

He enjoyed “do it yourself” projects around the house, having the best, greenest lawn in the neighborhood and listening to politics.

His funeral is scheduled for August 16th at 1130 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Child Safe—an organization dedicated to restore dignity, hope and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect at https://www.childsafe-sa.org The family would like to thank everyone for the phone calls, meals and support given in this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on August 16 at 11:30 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:30 PM. Military honors will be rendered at 2:15 PM.
