My condolences are with you the family of Mrs. Gullong. She was my typing teacher at Lanier H.S. in the 70's.

Ms. Gullong was an inspiration to all her students. Those who knew her were blessed to meet such a loving, caring, sweet, gentle woman. I'm very sorry to hear of her death. It seems like yesterday, when I was sitting in her typing class, then here VOE class (class of 76). I would bump into Ms. Gullong, once in a while, while shopping, and of course she was as sweet and as gentle as ever. I can't express in words, how much I will miss her. May god bless you and keep you in his hands, during these days of sorrow.

Please accept my sincerest condolences to the family of Mrs. Gullong who was my Typing teacher at Kennedy HS. The skills that I learned in her class have proven useful to me throughout my professional career as an educator proving that teachers do indeed touch the future.

Carmen, Roy and Virginia. I was saddened to read in today's paper about Gloria's passing and George passing away in March of this year. My sincere condolences to all of you. Even though I have not kept in touch since Celia's passing, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Gloria was my co-worker at Lanier H.S. We were very good friends. We traveled to meetings & stayed together at Hotels. We had fun & enjoyed our laughs. She was like a "Sister" to me!

I taught with Gloria at Lanier High School. She was a great teacher and a good friend. God needed another teacher in heaven and now he has one of the best.

To the family : It saddens me to hear that Mrs. Gullong passed away. I was one of her VOE students at Sidney Lanier High School (class of 1986). Mrs. Gullong was very patient with me even though I was not one of her "best" or "well behaved" students. She didn't know this, but I was actually listening to every word she said. I never got the chance to tell her that I became a success. Her teachings helped me in the early years of my career. From filling out the application to learning which fork to use at a business luncheon. For that I will always be grateful. Another thing that has always stayed with me - is that I remember she told us we needed to take care of our skin because even a bus passing us by on the street could get our faces dirty. 20something years later everytime I pass a bus I still raise the window to my car. :) Mrs. Gullong was an excellent and patient teacher. I never got the chance to thank her for teaching me what she did and the impact that she had on my life. Mrs. Gullong will always have a special place in my heart.

Gloria and George were good friends. We will miss them both. Gloria was a great educator. She loved her students and always motivated them to do their very best.

My deepest condolences to the Gullong family. Mrs Gullong always made sure her students learned everything they could so we could be successful in our jobs and life in general. She always told us that everything was possibe if we set our minds to do the best we could. She was one of favorite teachers.

Gloria was a dear friend and mentored me when I began my teaching career. Her life lessons will always be remembered. I will miss her.
