Gloria Lee Manelos, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on October 10, 1923 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Elza and Leola McEntire. Gloria left Texas when she married Bill Manelos in 1941 and they were stationed in Germany, Virginia, Nebraska, Arizona, Hawaii, and, finally, Texas in 1970. While in San Antonio, Gloria was active with the Salvation Army where she enjoyed reading to the children at Hope Center, assisting with donations, and working at the Angel Tree. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Col. William Manelos, USAF. Gloria is survived by her children, Aaron Manelos and wife Misty, John Manelos and wife Robin, Nanette Bishop and husband Greg; grandchildren, Nick Manelos and Will Manelos and wife Jennie.
