Gloria A. Mata passed away on September 1, 2012 at the age of 47. She is preceded in death by her father Luis Mata Jr. and brother Louie Mata III. Gloria was a kind hearted, loving, giving person and was an active member of Las Palmas English Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Miss Mata is survived by her mother Theresa A. Mata, siblings; Joe (Weda), Alex (Sandra), Johnny (Rosie), Nora (John), Jesse (Diana), Linda (John), Raymond (Melinda), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends. Visitation will begin Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:30 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012. Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.
