Gloria R. Rangel was called home to be with the Lord, on July 5, 2013 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her mother Angela Flores and sister Hortencia Cortez. Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Joe Rangel, of 63 years of marriage, her loving children; Joe R. Rangel, Raquel Rangel, Esther Rangel, Diana Rodriguez, Mary Helen Martinez (Joe), 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren brother Guadalupe Flores, niece Amelia Reyes, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family would like to give A Special Thanks to her granddaughter Amanda Rodriguez, Dr. Alan Merin and Sally Ledesma RNCM for the great care given to their loved one. Gloria lived a full and happy life. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family at her Port Aransas beach house. Visitation will begin, Wednesday July 10, 2013, 4:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home, Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
