

Gloria spent nearly 50 years in San Antonio helping others through her work at the Jewish Community Center, Temple Beth-El and many other civic organizations.
She held almost every position at the JCC where she received the Alter Award for her many years of caring for the Jewish service men, women and families stationed in San Antonio.
She helped plan the inaugural Texas Folk Life Festival; arranged for dozens of authors, artists, and performers to come to San Antonio; helped organize the Jewish Film Festival in San Antonio. A lover of the arts - she enjoyed the San Antonio Symphony and the Broadway Theater series.
At 85 years of age, she was the Director of Senior Services at the JCC working with her beloved seniors and involved in the Senior Olympics.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Leonard Seitzman (Col. US Army Ret).
Gloria is survived by her children, Howard (Kathy) Seitzman, Helaine (Bob) Katz, Larry (Lynn) Seitzman, and Jerry (Abbe) Seitzman, and grandchildren Nathan (Claire), Adam, Rachel, Michael, Benjamin, Natalie, and Cameron.
Gloria's family is grateful for the care she received at SAMMC, the former BAMC, where Dr. Seitzman spent much of his career, and the caring staff at Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin.

Immediately followed by interment at Beth-El Memorial Park (Austin Highway).
Following the interment, the family will be holding a memorial gathering in the Holzman Auditorium at the Jewish Campus (12500 NW Military Hwy) at approximately 3:45 pm. All are welcome.
