Grace R. Hamilton

Grace R. Hamilton, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in San Antonio. She was born in San Antonio to parents Jose and Carmen (Gallardo) Ramirez. Grace graduated from Incarnate Word High School and attended San Antonio College. She was a woman always on the go; she loved music, had a dog rescue on her property, loved plants, gardening, any type of flower and you could count on her to be ready whenever there was a peddler, craft or antique show anywhere close by. More than anything, Grace loved her work as a project control specialist at H.B. Zachry, where she worked for over 20 years. She helped anyone that she could and was known for her big heart.

Although she had many aches and pains, she never let that stop her from being as active as possible working in her flower garden and enjoying country life in Devine, TX. Grace enjoyed visiting several Catholic Churches. She was a woman of style and will be missed by many. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Rose and husband Gene Hamilton. She is survived by her husband, Robert Davis; son George Hamilton, his wife Tammie and their four boys; brothers, Michael, Martin, and Joe Ramirez and other extended family.
