

She was born on April 23, 1908 in Pomarico, Italy and was a United States citizen from birth. She attended schools in Modena and Naples, Italy, graduating with a teacher's certificate.
She came to the United States in 1924 and taught school in Brooklyn. She married Rosario S. Senia, a Professional Engineer, in 1929. They were married 54 years before he preceded her in death.
After raising her three children, she worked for the First National Bank of New Jersey Paterson until she retired in 1973.
Fulfilling a long desired goal, she obtained a drivers license at age 56.
In retirement, she received special recognition for completing over 4, 000 hours as a volunteer at the Wayne General Hospital, Wayne, NJ.
In 1983, she moved to Scenic Hills, Cibolo where she had an active social life and then spent the last few years at the Forum at Lincoln Heights.
Grace gave her children and their loving spouse's credit for her long and happy life.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Rau and husband, Carl of Randolph, NJ; son, Dr. Col. E. Steve Senia and wife, Irene of San Antonio; daughter, Sonia J. Conklin and husband, Robert of Napa, CA.
She was a wonderful grandmother to seven attentive grandchildren: Carla Bitterman and husband, Mark of Virginia, Steven S. Senia and wife, Susan of San Antonio, Lisa Paley and husband, Bruce of Virginia, Gregory Conklin and wife, Michiko of San Francisco, CA, Mark Conklin and wife, Sonja of New Jersey, Keith Conklin of Dallas, Dr. Scott Conklin and wife, Irene of New Orleans, LA.
She was grateful to have lived to know her great grandchildren: Natalie, Caitlyn, Michael, Allison, Stephanie, Amy, Sidney, Jack and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews.
Grace was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic church and also attended services at Saint Anthony de Padua.
The family expresses their gratitude for the kindness and extraordinary attention given to her by the staff of The Forum and also to her caring physician, Dr. Mark Drogin.
