

He was born on May 6, 1954 in Eugene, Oregon. His loving parents were Joseph and Lawana Chabra. He proudly grew up in Anaheim, California where he graduated from high school.
He was married to Beverly Lynn Chabra for 38 years. He lovingly assumed the role of husband to Beverly and father to Michael and Michelle. Together, they built a life of laughter and love.
Greg was the proud business owner of Accu Stripes. For 40 years, he has striped running tracks. His work has been regarded on important tracks around the country and the world, including his beloved University of Texas at Austin.
When not working, you would find him spending time with his cherished family and friends including the once “Palmetto Posse” in Austin and his ‘brother,’ Ronnie, and family in Aransas Pass. He loved supporting his grandchildren at their games and special events, cheering on the UT Longhorns and LA Lakers, playing a round of golf, and enjoying family time on the beach in Port Aransas.
He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly Chabra; his children Michelle (Christian) Storandt and Michael (Jessica) Moore; and his grandchildren Alex, Ben, Sophia, and Skylar.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lawana Chabra, his brothers Bill and Gene (Butch)Sugg , his sister Faye Peterson, and his nieces Karen West and Shelly Sugg.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 10am-2pm at Sunset North Funeral Home located at 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232 followed by a Celebration of Life 2:30-4:30pm at Blanco BBQ located at 13259 Blanco Road, San Antonio, Texas 78216.
