George Gregory Judson, known to all as Greg, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 2, 2026 at the age of 80. Known for a smile that truly touched the heart, he lived a life defined by joy and a quiet, steady determination.
He was admired by many for his patience and his ability to meet every challenge head-on. Stubborn in the best of ways, he refused to let physical limitations or adversity stand in his path, always pushing forward to accomplish what he set out to do. While he was a man of great personal strength, he often shared that his greatest achievements were made possible through the unwavering support and love of his wife and family.
The cornerstone of his life was his 45-year marriage to Stella; together, they built a history filled with love and traveled a path that took them to countless beautiful places. An enthusiast of the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking and camping, rowing on the lake, and hunting with his brothers. It was his mission to share this sense of peace with those he loved; through his deep sense of hospitality, he frequently invited family and friends to the family properties, building a community around the nature he held so dear.
His generosity reached far beyond his own backyard. He was deeply committed to supporting his family in the Philippines, providing many the opportunity to pursue higher education and a brighter future. Whether through a life-changing gift or his infectious sense of humor, he sought every opportunity to spread joy and lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Stella; his daughter, Kaye, and son-in-law, Tony; his cherished grandchild, Kami; and his brothers, Steve, Jimmy, and Jeff. His laughter, his tenacity, and his kind spirit will be deeply missed, but the life of love and the joy he planted in the hearts of others will be his enduring legacy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 20, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Reconciliation.
