Guadalupe Garcia

Mr. Guadalupe Garcia, a beloved and kind-hearted individual, passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on September 22, 1946, Mr. Garcia was known for his adventurous spirit, humorous nature, and his dedication to his family and community.

Mr. Garcia proudly served in the Marine Corps, demonstrating his commitment and bravery. His career was marked by his service to his country, a testament to his adventurous and courageous character.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Maria Ramos Garcia, along with his sisters, Estella, Herminia, Lydia and Josefina. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosemary M. Garcia, and his loving children: Libby Garcia (Rachel), Olivia Anderson (Judson), Regina Garza (Leonard Barragan), Melissa Suarez (Julian), Roberta Salas, and Rosemary Martinez (Christopher). Mr. Garcia is also survived by his brother, David Garcia. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Johnathan, Steven, Justin, Brittany, Amber, Zachary, Dereck, Thomas, Amanda, Julian, Malachi, Dionicio, Alena, and Christopher Jr. "C.J." Additionally, he leaves behind great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Samuel, Simon, Jaziah, Malanie, Juliette, Jasmine, and a baby girl on the way.

Guadalupe had a passion for carpentry, mechanics, and automotive work. He was known to have a green thumb, loving to garden both vegetables and flowers. His love for fishing, scenic country drives, and dancing to music brought joy to those around him.

Mr. Garcia resided in San Antonio, Texas, where he was cherished by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at La Hermosa Christian Church. A committal service will be held the same day at 1:15 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
