Guy Askew

Born in Hondo, Texas on June 30, 1949, he was the son of Ruth and Luther Askew and was raised by Ruth and Al Marnock in San Antonio. Guy graduated from Edison High School and completed some courses at San Antonio Community College. He worked for 40 years as a Technical Illustrator and Design Draftsman including 29 years at PAK-MOR Manufacturing Company.

Guy was passionate about fishing and competing with the Helotes Bass Club and hunting on the PAK-MOR dear lease. He enjoyed daily weekday 5:00 a.m. workouts, meticulously maintaining his vehicles, and DIY projects.

Guy is preceded in death by Ruth and Al Marnock and Luther Askew.

Guy is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughters Shelley and Lisa, and his sister Sheron and brother-in-law Jim.

The memorial service will be held on June 2 at 11:00 a.m. with guests arriving as early as 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 6321 Bandera Road in San Antonio 78238. A light lunch will be served onsite following the memorial service.
