Born on January 27, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas, Hannah lived her entire life in the city she loved, surrounded by family and friends who cherished her deeply.
Hannah was the beloved daughter of Juan Meza and Blanca Sierra, a devoted younger sister to Aaron Meza and an older sister to Jhosue Meza, and a doting aunt to her younger brother’s child. She also leaves behind her loving grandparents, her numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins who will forever miss her, and her boyfriend, Isaiah, whom she loved dearly. Hannah is preceded in death by her great-grandparents and her aunt, Becky Garcia. Hannah’s kind heart extended to her friends, who were often touched by her unwavering loyalty and compassion.
A strong-minded and independent soul, Hannah’s personality was as vibrant as her many passions. She had a lifelong love of anime, tattoos, and all things Hello Kitty, with an impressive collection of Sanrio-themed items, from plushies to makeup. Her affection for animals was evident in her deep bond with her cat, Misa, and her tarantula, which reflected her unique and fearless nature.
Hannah’s adventurous spirit shone brightly through her love of activities like snowboarding, swimming, hiking, zip-lining at the gorge in North Carolina, and visiting Chimney Rock. These experiences brought her joy and showcased her fearless and curious nature.
Hannah was known for bringing her family together, often organizing get-togethers and parties for her siblings and cousins, fostering love and connection. Her love for cooking brought joy to many as she delighted in preparing meals for friends and family. Despite facing challenges, Hannah persevered and grew stronger, inspiring those around her with her resilience and warmth.
Though her fiery and passionate spirit sometimes made her hot-headed, it was matched by her deep capacity for love and care. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a loving, creative, and determined young woman who embraced life fully and cherished those she held dear.
A visitation to honor Hannah’s memory will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home from 2pm to 9pm with a prayer service to begin at 5pm. A chapel service will follow on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 am at Trevino Funeral Home and Interment at San Jose Burial Park.
