

CMSGT Harold G. Bowman, USAF Ret., age 81, of San Antonio, went to his Father's house Thursday, March 23, 2006. He was born March 29, 1924 in Alto, GA to Rev. W.H. and Lula Gillstrap Bowman, who were responsible for the building of the Methodist Church in Gainesville, GA.
CMSGT Bowman was an Air Force man serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam, spending his last eleven years in Hokaido, Japan. He held life memberships in the Enlisted Men's Association, Air Force SGT Association, VFW, and VFW Home.
After his military retirement, he moved to Dallas, Texas in 1969 and joined Texas Instruments. He retired again after 21 years as manager of Network Operations and Services, Information Systems and Services, and Electronic Communications. He was a Master Mason - York Rite with his home lodge being in Hokaido, Japan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Warren Bowman. He is survived by his wife, Ramona J. Kroth Bowman; stepson, Leonard Snocker and his wife Cynthia; grandson, Christopher Snocker and his wife Kathleen and their children, Christian and Keris- Ann; granddaughter, Jennifer Snocker Klepper and husband Nathan and their daughter, Emery Lee.
CMSGT Bowman will lie in state Monday, March 27, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
