Mr. Harold L. Teeter, born in Jasper, MO, died on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the age of 95.
He attended Drury College where he met and married Mary Puddephatt. He served as an Ensign in the Coast Guard during World War II and was stationed in the Pacific.
Harold was a Life Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Teeter; and brother, Marvin Teeter.
Harold is survived by his sons, James and wife, Patricia Teeter, and Gene and wife, Lucille Teeter; grandchildren, Courtney Teeter, Bradford Teeter, and Laurel Lee; great granddaughter, Daria Lee; sister, Martha Louise Bullard; nieces, Amanda Sefton and Susan Hagen; nephews, Chris Teeter and Greg Patterson.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
