Helois was the daughter of Beulah and W. Dalton LeBlanc and was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Mary Laiche Hayes as well as her sister Monica LeBlanc. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Numa Laiche; sister, Varrie LeBlanc; numerous loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
Helois attended Mount Carmel High School before continuing on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She participated in ballet for 14 years and worked as a substitute teacher aide for NEISD and NSISD.
She had a passion for the ballet, having graduated from the Cecchetti Masters Ballet Form. Helois was an avid gardener with Numa by her side and an active Texas A&M Mom. She participated as a Spiritual Director of the Ursuline Academy and was the President of the Club. She was an active member at St. Matthews and St. Vincent DePaul churches; part of the Womens Society; and a Eucharistic minister at Methodist Hospital.
The friends she made where ever she went will miss Helois dearly for her generous spirit, enthusiasm for life, warm hearted hospitality and contagious smile that could light up any room she entered. Her memory will live on through all those who knew her best - family and friends alike - as they cherish all their fond memories together throughout the years.
Rest in peace Helois LeBlanc Laiche - you will be greatly missed but never forgotten!
