Henry was truly one of my best friends; he was always there when I needed him, and I'd like to think I was there for him. I will miss his weekly phone call, his stories, and his advice. I will never forget him. With deepest sympathies and love,

During the short time that I knew him, Henry was a great friend. He was a truly benevolent person, always willing to help out. Whether he was offering a friendly ear to listen to my troubles or simply giving me a ride home from a friend's house, Henry always made me feel cared about. Though I will miss the good times we shared, I will remember them, as I will remember Henry, with a smile.

I am so ever sorry for your loss. I will always remember Henry's positive views on life and how they influenced me. I am in debt to Henry. He helped get me a job in high school at Ruby Tuesdays restaurant. After going to the same college he introduced me to Boston, the campus and helped me meet new friends. I will never forget all the fun times we had together being roomates for 2 years. Henry will forever be missed.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Henry and his mom. I knew the Lu family from Joe, when we met in the GBYSO in the mid-80s. We lived near each other at the time, and when I would go over the house, I initially thought of Henry as Joe's hyper little brother. But Henry was of course much more than that; he was always funny, always nice, and you could tell that he and Joe were close. We even let Henry hang out with us sometimes, such is the way of older brothers and their friends, and when he did he was overjoyed. Over time, Henry grew to not only be a multi-talented musician, but an intelligent and respectful young man. I will miss him, and I wish that this little memory will play some part in the peace and coming to terms of this tragedy of loss.

Dear Mr. Lu and Joseph Lu- My deepest condolences on the lose of Henry and you wife and mother. Henry was a close friend and I will sincerely miss him. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Henry Lu, 
 I met Henry about two weeks ago while he was training for his new job at Sam's I met him at Wal-mart #2864 in San Antonio, Tx. As I walked in, He had a bright beautiful smile and he was eager to learn what he had to learn to go start his new job at Sam's. On his last 
Friday at Wal-Mart I had breakfast with him at McDonald's, little did i know it would be the last time i saw him. Even though I only worked with him one week, when I heard about his passing, I was deeply hurt and honored to have met such a great human being. Once again my heart goes out to you and your family, and thanks for having a wonderful son that even though I didn't know that long, still had a great impact on everyone that crossed his path. God must have had bigger plans for him, for now his an angel watching over us.

HENRY WAS A VERY UNIQUE PERSON WHO ALWAYS HAD A SMILE. HE ALWAYS SEEMED TO MAKE EVERYONE LAUGH. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS FATHER AND BROTHER. MAY YOU FIND STRENGTH IN EACH OTHER TO GET THROUGH THIS. Henry will always have a special place in my heart. I remember about 5 years ago when I first met Henry. A co-worker and I took Henry out to dinner at the Riverwalk County Line. The purpose of our dinner was to persuade Henry and 3 of his other friends to move down here and come work with us as a pharmacist. The dinner was a success as soon after that Henry was here working for me. I watched him grow into a successful pharmacist and then a pharmacy manager. Not only was Henry a great employee but he was a good friend. Henry always had a positive outlook no matter what he encountered. He never got down. I will never forget you Henry. My deepest condolonces to the Henry's family. I met Henry last January and had a wonderful conversation with regard to his pharmacy career path that I was actively assisting him with. He mentioned to me his love for music and of course, his newest friend and pet that he cared so much for. His talked to me about his family and how his parents came to this country working hard at their family business--the reason he developed such a strong work ethic. I am saddened that I will not be able to complete my goal to partner with Henry in his career progression as we'd planned in the years to come. Our phone conversations that followed our initial meeting told me of his strong desire to excel and he was excited about new opportunities. He was special and will be missed by many whose lives he has positively impacted. May he rest in peace. My prayers are with the family. I recently met Henry at Sam' Club Pharmacy. We worked together all last week to get him prepared to take over his Sam's Club Pharmacy. In those forty hours we talked about everything from family, schooling, work, and things we did for fun. I was very excited that Henry was going to be there because he was an excellent pharmacist and was great with the patients he met. He was full of life, energy, charisma, and kindness. My life will forever be touched that I was able to meet him and get to know him.

You never realize how important something is until it is gone. Henry was one of the nicest people I have ever met and a very special person. Henry was generous, outgoing, friendly to everyone and he was my friend. I will miss him deeply.

Henry was a good friend. He always had a smile on his face. You will be missed at Shaolin-Do.

It is difficult to think of a young person with so much to offer no longer with us. But those who knew Henry were touched by his gentle manner and quick smile. He will be missed, but he has left every life he touched with a special memory.

Henry was a sensational man. He loved life and wasn't afraid to be a part of it. Henry was proud of his successes and he did well for himself. His selflessness through his caring ways for his mother was displayed by his love and care for her. My last day with Henry was on the weekend of President's Day the 19th of February. Henry and I went to the San Antonio zoo. Henry was fond of animals and he had a warm heart. On Friday, 20 February, me and my friends invited Henry out to join us for sushi, but he had to work late. Little did we know that was the last time we were to hear or see him again. Peace be with you Henry and your mother in heaven. Love, Sueconia

Henry will be greatly missed. He was a very positive spirit at the school and I always saw him smiling. He had a way of making people laugh and putting life into perspective. I didn't have the opportunity to know Henry's mother, 
but she must have been an incredible kind, gentle and giving person to have 
raised such a great son.
