

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Bautista Saenz and Julia Aguilera; his daughter, Yvonne Saenz; his siblings and their spouses, Aurora Medina and husband Ramon Medina, Albert Saenz and wives Betty Shea Bryant and Dolly Belcher, Ernesto Saenz and wife Maria del Refugio Gutierrez, Elvira Maria Saenz, Ernestina "Tina" Vollmer-König and husband Gilberto Vasquez, Juan Saenz and wife Mary Alice Cazares; as well as brothers-in-law, Abelardo Garcia and Jim Wall.
Henry's living relatives include his sister Elvira Wall and brother-in-law Father Josef Völlmer- Konig; his children, Steven Saenz and wife Florence Bonaccorso Saenz, Cynthia Saenz, Jeannette Saenz and husband Uwe Hess, Margaret Riley; his grandchildren, Samuel Riley and wife Kathleen McClure Riley, Veronica Riley and husband Rueben Salas; and great grandchildren Estelle and Molly Riley.
Henry has numerous nieces and nephews that he enjoyed visiting with, especially during family barbecues at brother John's home, the family reunions in Bastrop, Texas, or while visiting them in various cities in this country.
Henry graduated from Brackenridge High School where he ran track. He earned an Associate of Arts degree and retired as a supervisor of cartography with the Department of Defense Mapping Agency H.T.C. at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
Henry loved all his children and grandchildren. He was both a fan and participant in their activities which included: school band, color guard; sports, scouts, family camping and cookouts to name a few.
Henry's favorite past times included his lawn service which developed into cherished friendships, traveling, golf, square dancing, and fishing with family and friends. Henry enjoyed joking and speaking with everyone. He never lost his sense of humor – not even in his final days.
