Heriberto "Eddie" Torres

Heriberto" Eddie" Torres, Sr., age 82, passed away on Monday afternoon, June 27, 2022, at University Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1940, in McAllen, Texas to Reynaldo and Manuela Sanchez Torres. Heriberto proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. During that time, he served as a Radioman Third Class aboard naval ships, aircrafts, and shore facilities where he transmitted, received, and processed radio signals through various transmission media.

Heriberto lived his last years in San Antonio, Texas and is survived by his five children Luisa Teresa Torres, Heriberto "E.T" Torres Jr., Imelda Maria Torres, Melissa Torres, and Rolando Rene Torres.

He is also survived by his siblings: Margarita Torres, Reynaldo Torres, Federico Torres, Adolfo Torres, Efrain Torres, and Rene Torres.

His passions for life that brought him so much joy were playing his guitar, listening to his oldies, boleros, blues music, spending quality time with his children and jamming with his bros.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
