Hope Grunwald, age 93, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2019. She was born on January 17, 1926 in Sayers, Texas. Hope was a Charter Member of Concordia Lutheran Church and a faithful servant of the Lord, volunteering in numerous activities with the church. Hope was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Hope was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Florence Passailaigue and her husband, Marvin “Grumpy” Grunwald. She is survived by her children, Bubba Grunwald (Pam), Marsha Fritsch (Charlie), Rusty Grunwald (Kerry), Cathy Bryom (Wayne); her one surviving brother, Ted Passailaigue; grandchildren, Amber, Scott, Tammy, Clint, Russell, Becky, Brad, Amy, and Kristen; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 22nd at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Funeral Service at 11:30 am. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seasons Hospice at www.seasonsfoundation.org.
