He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Washington of Columbus, Ohio; fiancée, Sarita M. Villa; his grandson Patrick A. Villa; brother, Hayma Screech Washington of Los Angeles, California; sister, Tamar Marshall and her husband, Dale, and their daughters, Ardiel and Albane, also of Columbus, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, and owned his own Tree Service, HDW Landscaping. The family would like to thank Mr. R.B. Cooper from the First Baptist Church for helping Horace recover from drugs and alcohol and being clean for the past ten years.
