

Capt. Schuetze was born 3 March 1916. He graduated from Brackenridge High School.
After joining the Army, he attended OCS, Ft. Knox in 1943.
He was preceded in death by mother and father, Myrtle and Oscar Schuetze; siblings Alice Bessellieu, Fred, Raymond and Philip Schuetze.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Juanita; sons, Howard Edward Schuetze Rita and Michael C. Schuetze; daughter, Judith Schuetze Gentile; grandchildren, Edie Gentile Mike, Teresa Schuetze, Kristi Schultz Manuel, Jeannene Bellue Kyle, Bradley Schuetze, Michael, Michelle, and Matthew Schuetze; great-granddaughters, Maranda Schultz Arnold Schultz, father, Laynie and Addison Bellue; sister-in-law, Emily Wissler; and several nieces and nephews.
Capt. Schuetze served 20 years in the U. S. Army and 18 years with Air Force Civil Service, Kelly AFB. He was awarded the Purple Heart during World War II on Okinawa.
Howard devoted his entire life to God, his country, and his family.
