Irene was born in San Antonio, Texas to Fred O. Talamantez and Louisa Talamantez on October 4, 1948. She went to school at John F. Kennedy High School. She worked as a Secretary, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant and Home Health Aid.
Irene is preceded in death by by her grandmother, father, mother, daughter and brother.
Irene is survived by her daughter Katrina Gonzalez and two grandsons Brandon Gonzalez and Mykah Gonzalez.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on August 2, 2024 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with Chaplin Steven Mclean officiating. Committal Service will be held at 3:00pm at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
