Isaiah N. Gonzales was born on December 9, 2013, in San Antonio to Isaiah and Jaclyn Gonzales. From the very beginning, he brought joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew him.
He was a bright and loving child who enjoyed playing video games, spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, and reading books at the library. Isaiah had a special way of making others smile and will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laugh, curiosity, and quick sense of humor.
He attended Bernal Middle School, where he was in the 6th grade, and was loved by both his teachers and classmates. Like many young souls, he was still learning, growing, and dreaming of the future ahead. One thing he already understood was how to be a true friend—sharing laughter, showing kindness, and bringing people together. The love his friends have for him is a reflection of the beautiful life he lived.
Isaiah N. Gonzales is survived by his loving parents, Isaiah and Jaclyn Gonzales; his siblings, Alexa Gonzales and Allyson Gonzales; his grandparents, Isreal and Linda Gonzalez and Daniel Gonzales; as well as countless aunts, uncles, and many cousins who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alicia Gonzales; his great-grandmother, Carmen Castillo; his great-grandparents, Aurelio and Zoila Gonzalez, Miguel and Maria Salazar, and Juan and Maria Gonzales; his aunt and uncle, Rudy and Sylvia Garza; his aunt, Oralia Castillo; and his uncle, Ralph Contreras.
