

He was born on May 14, 1934 in Martindale, TX and was the eldest of 10 children. As a young man he spent many years working on a local farm in Crookston, MN. It was there that he had many dear friends, and met the love of his life Carmen. Together through hard work and devotion they built a loving family and home in San Antonio, TX. His joy in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his warm smile, hard work ethic, and his deep love for his family. He will be missed dearly, but leaves behind many precious memories for his loving family and friends to cherish always.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carmen Guerrero, son Isidro Guerrero lll; parents Isidro and Maria Guerrero; and his brothers John and Gilberto Guerrero.
He is survived by his children: Dominga Luna (David), Johnny Guerrero (Tracy), Greg Guerrero (Jackie), Antonio Guerrero and Isidro’s loving companion Amadita Villanueva. His siblings: Pedro, Adolfo, Jose, Manuel, Raymond, Irene and Lupe. His grandchildren: Natalie, Stacey, Katie Marie, Robin, Johnny Jr., Jared, Alison, and Celeste. His great grandchildren: Austin, Emerie, Evan, Autumn, Brody, Zacarias, Elliot and Clara.
The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Sunday, March 15 at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 2525 Palo Alto Rd. 78211 – from 5 PM to 9 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. A Funeral Procession will depart at 9:15 AM on Monday, March 16 to arrive at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church – 4415 S. Flores St. 78214 – for the Funeral Mass at 10 AM. The Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Rd. 78237.
