

J.P. proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. While serving in the Air Force and raising a family, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Organizational Management. After retiring, he pursued his love of teaching to work in higher education. He also worked towards a Doctoral degree in Management. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, water skiing, being outdoors, researching history, and doing projects around his home. He was a problem solver and could fix anything. He was a proud, loving, and supportive father, husband, and brother, and was a mentor to many. His strength, spirit, and faith during his nearly 10-year fight against cancer were an inspiration to everyone that knew him. He will be truly and forever missed.
J.P. was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Leonard Foley and Billy Foley. He is survived by his wife, Magdalena Foley; daughter, Emmy Foley and husband Trevor Pirtle; sons, Jake Foley, Orlando Apodaca and wife Melissa, and Antonio Apodaca and wife Toni; grandchildren, Natalia and Aryssa; brother, Dan Foley and wife Laurie; sisters, Ann Nitteberg, Linda Busch and husband Jerry; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
