He was a veterinarian for 35 years at the Austin Highway Veterinary Hospital, and retired as an elder from Sunset Ridge Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lt Gen Jay T. Robbins, USAF Ret.; and son, Clayton Scott Robbins.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna Robbins; children, Mark Robbins and wife Donna, Alan Robbins, all of San Antonio, Jana Robbins of Boerne, and Jill Robbins Handley and husband Mark of Grapevine; grandchildren, Colby and Lara Robbins, Jack, Lane, and Carolyn Handley; and sister-in-law, Ina Robbins of San Antonio.
