She was an LVN and a private duty nurse for many years. Jackie was a great fan of 70's music and enjoyed listening to Elvis, Neil Diamond, and Abba. She loved all sports, especially her San Antonio Spurs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Curtis “Sonny” Smith and his wife Barbara, and Mickey Smith; and grandson, John Charles Hoyo IV. Jackie is survived by her sons, John Hoyo and James Hoyo and his wife Becky; daughter, Jackie C. Hoyo; brother, Vaugn Smith, and his wife Mary Hoover; sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith; grandchildren, Chris Hoyo and his wife Leah, Troy Hutson and his wife Cynthia, Kaelen Placencia; great-grandchildren, Tristan Stokes, Fayth Hutson, Azazel Hutson, Werner Hoyo, Danielle Hoyo, and Emil Hoyo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
