

Born Jacquline Jean Moss in Fairfield, Alabama on October 7, 1937, to parents, John Moss, Sr. and Elizabeth Morris Moss. She was affectionaly known as "Jackie" and her siblings caller her "Spap". Jackie had four siblings: Harold, John Moss, Jr., Beatrice and Patricia. Her birth family transitioned before her, she was the last Moss standing.
The Lord called Jackie home on December 24, 2021, from complications of Kidney Failure.
Jackie attended Fairfield industrial High School. She graduated in 1955. It was there that she shared many adventures with her four best girlfriends: Cora, Corrine, Doris, Lil. Until the end of Jackie's life, she spoke with Cora every Sunday on the telephone.
After High School, Jackie moved to California with her beloved husband, Robert Horn "Bobby".
Once in California, Jackie attended Southwest Community College and West Los Angeles College. She received degrees in Secretarial Science and Entrepreneural Studies.
Jackie and Bobby found their greatest commonality in their many shared entrepreneurial adventures. Eery idea and inspiration that Jackie had was supported by Bobby, her life and soulmate of 62 years.
Her professional career began as a Program Director for the Watts Skills Center. Where she planed events and provided services for inner city youth. She always loved working with young people.
Jackie loved to re-invent herself and take on new challenges. One day while out on a jog, she heard a news alert about the need for group homes in central California she was living in Carson, California at the time. Jackie and bobby wrote a proposal and fair gates group homes was born in Fresno, CA. She served many young people teaching them life skills and work experience training 'n the 1980's.
Jackie always had a love for fashion and Afro Centric Art. In the 1990's she designed a line of Afro Centric Clothing. Jackie was a natural born salesperson with a dynamic personality. She hustled and secured a contract with the Baldwin Hills Mall and the Sears store at the Crenshaw Call she designed an Afro Centric line that was sold in both venues. She also branched out and secured contracts to military bases throughout the United States marketing and selling her unique brand. When she moved to San Antonio, Texas in the early 2000's, she continued to contract with military bases and various conventions until she was too ill to do so.
Jackie had many hobbies. In her 40's she took up running. She could be seen running up to 15 miles per day all around the city of Carson. Jackie loved to dance, sing, entertain friends and family and going to the casino. Her favorite book was " Think and Grow Rich" she loved watching family feud and judge Mathis.
What she was most proud of was her Real Estate investments. She earned her Real Estate License. Not to sell but to invest. In her life she owned 7 homes and 1 mountain resort home.
Jackie is survived by four children, Randy, Gigi, Rommie and Roddy; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Shannon, Chasen, Styles, Romeo, Saig and R.J.; ten great-grandchildren, Cherish, Royal, Nobel, Jaide, Jhyln, Miles, Maverick, Jaeden, Jacobe and Jaziya; she also leaves her beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.
The absence of Jackies passionate voice of wisdom and "telling it like it is" opinions will leave a void in the lives of all those who ever met her. She was the type of spirit that you could never forget.
Jackie ran her race to the very end. Now she joins her beloved husband, Bobbi. They are joined and rejoicing together in eternity. God be the Glory.
