

James L. "Jim" Boyle, age 79, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was born on October 1, 1936 in Moundsville, West Virginia to Thomas and Mildred Boyle. He was raised in New Martinsville, West Virginia and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at M&L Valve in Odessa and was a member of the Chuck Wagon Gang. "Pops" loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing board games. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid MOJO football fan. Jim's favorite excursion and adventure was going down the Inner Coastal Canal with his friend, Larry Lane. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nelma Boyle; daughters, Venetia Mitchell and husband, Bret, Tina Bizzell and husband, Cory; sisters, Bunny Cunningham and husband, John, Sandy Lantz and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Crissy and husband, Trinity, Clint, Brenton, Courtney and husband, Brandon, and Heather; great-grandchildren, Tanner, London, Cameron and Kinley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and his faithful grand-dog, Carley.
