Jim was born in January of 1944. He served for three years in the US Army 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood. He retired from USAA where he worked as a claims manager and adjuster for over twenty years. Jim was an avid golfer.
Jim is survived by his beloved cat Jax; three children, John and wife Nina; Jim and wife Traci; and Laurie and husband Geoff; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Rachel, Derek, Lexi, Zach, Hayden, Marshall, and Dayna; and five great grandchildren.
Jim is preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra; one grandson, Austyn Eddinger; and two beloved cats, Tristan and Gus.
Graveside services will be held on Friday August 4th 2023 at 2:30pm at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
