James Loren Kidder, 71, of San Antonio TX, passed away on December 14, 2015. He was born in Marion, Indiana on April 7, 1944. James graduated from high school and received an Associate’s degree in Science from Baylor University. He was married to Christiane Mosler Kidder on May 11, 1968.
James had a career in the U.S. Army and retired as CW3 and civil service at Ft. Sam Houston. He was a member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church and had a passion for flying as a pilot and he always loved computers.
He was survived by 2 sons: Mark Stephen Kidder (Wife: Melanie), and Eric James Kidder (Wife: Laurel). 4 grandsons: Joshua, Ryan, Brandon, and Finnian. Sister: Mary Winters and sister in law: Barbara Kidder.
Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29th, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel at 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. Interment will follow with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
