James Lawrence Young

James, an Army Veteran, was employed with American Greeting Corporation for 20 years, worked for Miracle Candle Co. for 10 years and was currently employed with Reed Candle Co. as the National Sales Manager. He also served with the US Marshalls Posse for 9 years.

James was a lifetime member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. He liked a good cigar and was an outdoorsman at heart, as he was an avid bird hunter and enjoyed his horses. James had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. He was an amazingly dedicated family man, and especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. He was cherished and loved by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.

James is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda; daughter, Wyndee Rodriguez and husband, Ralph; son, Bradley Young and girlfriend, Emily Smith; grandchildren, Donella, Christopher, Dominique, Collin, Chloe, R.J., Cole, Ashlynn, and Madalynn; brothers-in-law, Jim Ferguson and wife, Janeen, Martin Ferguson and wife, Jeannette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
