Janet Rae Wagner

Janet Rae Wagner was a loving mom, "Grammy" and friend. At the age of 74, she left this earth to walk with Jesus on July 28, 2022. Janet loved sewing, needlework and dogs. She was known to be the "go-to" for mending torn blue jeans for the grandkids, she always had a cross stitching project in the works and she loved doting over her dog, Lucy. She spent many hours volunteering at the San Antonio Humane Society where she loved assisting with their Saturday clinics. But she will be most remembered as a proud, loving Grammy who would drop everything to be present in the lives of her grandchildren. She attended every game, tournament, graduation and milestone, and she always had meals ready when they came in town to visit her. She is survived by her children, Brian Hillman and spouse, Michele, Kathy Villemain and spouse, Pete, her grandchildren, Jacob Villemain and spouse, Ashleigh, Ashley Billingsley and spouse, Cole, Nathan Villemain and Caleb Hillman. She is also survived by her stepmother and sister of Akron, Ohio, Mary and Dianna Wagner.

Her memorial service will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North (2102 N Loop 1604 East) on August 13, 2022 at 2:00pm.
