Janice Lou Potts Goforth

Janice Lou Potts Goforth, age 78, of San Antonio, Texas died on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Born September 17, 1938 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dolph and Dorothy Potts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Tupis.

Janice retired from Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation of Charleston, West Virginia. She worked as a Chart Processor with over 20 years of service. She was a longtime resident of St. Albans, West Virginia before moving to San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of Churchill Baptist Church of San Antonio.

Janice is survived by her sons, Richard C. Goforth II and his wife Dawn, Christopher D. Goforth and his wife Debbie, all of San Antonio, Texas, and daughter, Debra Lynn Stickley and her husband Craig of Sylacauga, Alabama; four grandchildren, Kerrie, Jamie, RC and Kristyn; her brother, James Potts and wife Betty of Memphis, Tennessee.

The family will received friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Sunday, January 29th, 2017 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
