She is preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Hernandez III and is survived by her husband, Juan S. Martinez; children: Raul Hernandez, Jr. and wife, Stella; Ruben Hernandez and wife, JoAnn; Elizabeth Diaz; Michael Hernandez; Virginia Guzman and husband, Frank; Emelda Hernandez and husband, Daniel Castillo; Antonio Hernandez and wife, Patty; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and cousins.
The family gives their thanks to the Out-Patient Dialysis Unit Staff at University Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20th from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
