To Tia Janie's family, I am the granddaughter of Tia Janie's oldest sister Maria Hernandez who was deceased in December 1982 here in Lubbock, and my father was Rosendo RoyHernandez who passed away in April 1998. We were contacted this past sunday about your loss and our family sends our deepest condolences to all of the family. It has been a very long time since we had seen her and we weren't certain of how to contact any of her family or her in the last few years. We had hoped to visit San Antonio in the last couple of years but simply didn't make it. I hope that somehow we can get in touch with one another since we were aware of Tia Santos and Tio Leonardo passing away last year but we didn't know of the funeral until after the services. We would love to get in touch with any of our relatives of the Gutierrez family, it has been a very long time since we had seen each other. Again our deepest condolences from our family to yours in your time of sympathy. I will always remember Tia Janie's kindness to us as children and her special bond with Mother. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Sunday's were always special - that's when Tia Janie would come down to visit Grandma Santos and we'd spend the day catching up on each other's lives and eat Grandma's cooking. The laughter and family memories that were relived during those times together were priceless to me. I'll always remeber her sweet smile and infectious laughter. I will miss her dearly. 
May her love passed on to her children help and comfort them during this very difficult time.

It is with great sadness that I convey my heartfelt condolences to the Mora Family. My aunt Janie was a remarkable woman who always made me feel like I was a part of her family. Her generosity and kindness never ceased to amaze me. She was always there to lend anyone a helping hand or offer words of comfort. Her love has lit my way...her memory will ever be with me. Although aunt Janie was ours for a just a little while, rest assured that she is now with Jesus forever. God bless the entire family and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
