

A devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother, Janis raised a family while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Sociology followed by a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Before opening her own practice in 1998, she was associated with several mental health organizations in San Antonio. She specialized in Clinical Play Therapy, Couples Communication, and Parenting Programs. She was a founding member and first President of the Alamo Chapter of the Texas Association of Play Therapy.
Also a charter member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, she was firm in her faith. Janis passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
She achieved her goals, helping ease the pain of others even when hers was great. Her love and inspiration will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Her father, Fred John Pamer; and step-father, Kenneth E. Smith, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, David A. Stoller of San Antonio; son, Zachary Stoller of Austin; daughter, Sarah Colglazier and husband Mike; twin grandsons, Mason and Ethan Colglazier, all of San Antonio; mother, Marion H. Smith of San Antonio; brother, Fred Pamer of Duck Lake, MI; and sisters, Christina Jones-Olivarez of San Antonio, and Claudia Keckler of Long Beach, CA.
