She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lange was a longtime teacher and librarian in North East, Edgewood and San Antonio Independent School Districts. She maintained a very happy, energetic personality despite being in chronic pain during most of her adult life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest A. Lange, parents, Van and Mary Sue Vanskike and her brother, Robert Mitchell. Mrs. Lange is survived by her sons, Eric Lange and wife, Barbara, Kurt Lange and wife, Phyllis; and daughter, Jeanne Grenet; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
