

A handsome and beautiful boy, Jean-Paul will be remembered as a kind and caring person who saw the good in everyone. He judged no one and embraced everyone he met with his incredible smile. He led with his heart and befriended all.
He loved the theater and sought to be a part of it by performing in many plays. He loved music and sang joy to all around him.
Jean-Paul was also an outstanding student and received many accolades from his teachers. Above all he was an exceptional athlete where he excelled in lacrosse and soccer as a team captain. He was a natural-born leader and was president of his class in previous years.
Jean-Paul will be missed by his family who loved him dearly and all the friends and people he touched with his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father Paul J. Tatum and survived by his mother Angela Tatum, his paternal grandparents Robert and Alicia Tatum, Jr., maternal grandparents Janice and Hector Hernandez, sisters Sasha, Isabella, and Sofia, aunts and uncles Lisa Ryan, Pamela and Edilberto Montemayor, Sarah and Abe Alanis and Peter and Kim Hernandez, his cousins Alex Ryan, Emilio, Alexa, and Andres Montemayor, Catlin and Stevan Hernandez and extended family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring. Visitation will also be held Wednesday, October 15th beginning at 5:00 p.m. at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.
