Jean Tullis

Imogene M. (Jean) Tullis, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the age 82. Jean was a 1948 graduate of Brackenridge High School and earned her manicurist license in 1965. She was married to James E. (Jim) Tullis, Sr. until his passing in 1992. Together they raised two children, Carol Lynn and James E. Jr. She was a longtime member of Dellview Baptist Church and the Harlandale Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Zona Cleo Morris; her husband, James E. Tullis, Sr.; brothers-in-law, Toby Wagner and Maurice Schulz. Jean is survived by her son, James E. Tullis, Jr. and his wife Janice; daughter, Carol Kloeppel; grandchildren, Jennifer Becka and husband John, Julie Rodriguez and husband Albert, Jessica Rackler and husband Jonny, James E. Tullis, III, Mark Kloeppel and his wife Veronica; great-grandchildren, John (Bubba), Jayden and Jase Becka, Shelby and Zoey Rodriguez, Jackson Rackler and Avian Kloeppel; sisters, Joan Schulz, Alice (Nell) Wagner, June Phillips and husband Bill, Glenda Morris and husband Mike Nunes; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 9:00am at Sunset Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
