She was born August 28, 1931, in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Edward and Hilda Lloyd.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lt Col Bernard John Jack Yates.
Jean is survived by her sister, June Hofmann and husband, Aloysius; brothers, Edward Lloyd, Richard Lloyd and wife, Joyce; as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.
Throughout her life, Jean and her husband lived in many locals around the world, including Japan, Hawaii, Iceland, Germany and Diego Garcia. She proudly served many years as a volunteer and later an employee of the American Red Cross. Jean will greatly be missed by all who loved and knew her.
