

She received her BS in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake College in 1949. She was also a Past President of the Alumni Association at OLL. Jeanette retired from Kelly AFB in 2001 from her job as a Contract Price Analyst. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church for 50 years. She loved nature, being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Jeanette was also a Religious Education teacher and Eucharistic Minister at her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Paul Barry, Sr. and daughter, Bernadette Barry Young.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Patenaude and husband, Dale; sons, Alfred Paul Barry, Jr, and wife, Debora, Stephen G. Barry and wife Patricia, and Michael G. Barry and wife, Caitlin; son-in-law, John Young; grandchildren Barry and Amanda Young, Shannon Harvey and Charlotte Barry, Amy Patterson, Eric, and Lisa Patenaude, Christopher and Aaron Barry, and Kasia Barry; great grandchildren Olivia and Ivy Patterson, Erica and Isaac Patenaude, Evelyn, Seth and Jeremiah Barry; numerous nieces and nephews: Gracie the dog and Kit the cat.
The Barry family would like to thank Dr. James Vosberg and his staff, all the staff at Professional Caretakers Inc. and the staff at San Antonio Home Health and Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Jeanette.
