This week was a sad time for our family, our beloved sister Jeanette died in her sleep. She had been a model for human endurance in the face of adversity for the past year. Facing cancer returned, kidney failure and scleroderma, she fought with an unyielding passion for life. You will remember her generous spirit and love for all; she was an ambassador for compassion and kindness.
Jeanette left a small world of immediate family, her brothers Paul and Jim and her beloved sister-in-law Johnny. Of course her extended family of aunts and uncles, cousins, and long-time friends made a large world.
Jeanette graduated from MacArthur High School after circling the globe as a military brat. Most of her working years were spent at the UT Health Science Center in the Human Resources Department where she left many friends.
So we invite you to celebrate Jeanette's life with us at Porter Loring on McCullough at 11:00 A.M. on Monday the 1st of October. In lieu of flowers please contribute to your favorite animal charity. We hope to see you there wearing a smile and bright colors with stories about Jeanette.
Love,
Jeanette's Family
